We never miss our Turkey Legs at Disneyland. They are huge and just the right amount of protein for a long day at the park 😛
We usually are able to get 2 turkey legs to feed a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We also share a corn and an icy lemonade. It’s a relatively low cost meal when you add it all up.
It’s one of our favorite meals because we usually get the legs near the entrance to the Rivers of America and find a quiet place around the River to eat.
My oldest daughter loves this meal the best because she loves the taste of the slow cooked meat. She calls it beef jerky turkey.
Here’s a sample of the dining plan that we’ve done in the past.
During this holiday season we did this:
Day before: Trader Sam’s for dinner
Day 1 Disney California Adventure: Ariel’s Grotto, Wetzel’s Pretzels in Downtown Disney, (I don’t remember what we did for dinner)
Day 2: Minnie and Friends, Turkey Legs from cart, Cafe Orleans and Corn dogs from Stage door Cafe
Day 3 (last morning): Storyteller’s Cafe
I will say there have been very few instances when I’ve been disappointed with the food at Disneyland. Most of it is yummy and everything else is okay. Nothing terrible…. yet.
